This past week, I had the incredible opportunity to attend Homebase by Veterans United Realty (VUR) — an event designed specifically for real estate agents who are passionate about serving those who’ve served our country.
Homebase by VUR is more than just a conference. It’s a gathering of like-minded realty professionals, networking partners, and educators who share a commitment to helping veterans and active-duty service members achieve their dream of homeownership. The event brings together top agents from across the country for a weekend of training, coaching, and connection, all centered around the mission of supporting our nation’s heroes through homeownership.
A Powerful Experience Among Fellow Veteran Advocates
Being surrounded by others who share the same passion for helping veterans was both inspiring and energizing. The sessions focused on best practices for VA home loans, understanding veteran needs, and strengthening partnerships between agents and lenders who put service members first.
Moments like these remind me why I specialize in working with veterans — because every veteran deserves an advocate who understands both the process and the purpose behind their homebuying journey.
Special Guests: Craig Morgan & Rob Riggle
One of the biggest highlights of the event was getting to experience a live performance by Craig Morgan, whose music and service as a U.S. Army veteran embody the spirit of resilience and patriotism. I also had the chance to meet Rob Riggle, a Marine Corps veteran, comedian, and actor known for his humor and heart. Both of them brought so much energy and authenticity to the event, reminding us that the veteran community is full of incredible talent and dedication beyond the uniform.
Bringing It All Back Home
Attending Homebase by VUR strengthened my commitment to continue advocating for veterans in the homebuying process. Every conversation, training, and handshake reinforced the idea that we’re not just selling homes — we’re helping heroes build stability, community, and a lasting sense of belonging.
I’m proud to be part of a network that values service, integrity, and impact. And I can’t wait to put what I learned into action for the veterans and military families I’m honored to serve.
