There are many hidden treasures (and Trolls) throughout Mount Horeb, including casual cafes, gourmet restaurants, delightful bakeries, a world-class brewpub, award-winning wineries, and scenic bike trails. Located 20 miles southwest of Madison, encompassing a total area of 3.25 miles.

Mount Horeb has its own outdoor public pool - Mount Horeb Family Aquatic Center - just a few blocks north of Main Street, and for recreation, after stocking up at Duluth Trading, head up to Stewart Lake County Park, also just a few blocks north of town, for hiking trails, picnicking, and fishing.
You could spend an entire day exploring Mount Horeb, or use it as a great launching point to explore the State's Driftless area to the southwest. It's the best of both worlds - easy access to Madison, but with a small town vibe all its own on the edge of one of Wisconsin's great natural areas.
