- Crack open the windows! Nothing screams spring like fresh air. This is also a great time to wash your windows and your curtains! (Have you gotten your copy of my Homeowner Checklist? Drop your contact info, and I can send you this month's list of monthly tasks to maintain your home!)
- Swap linens. Exchange your heavier, winter fabrics for light colored cotton. Throw pillows, throw blankets, hand towels, and your sheets are all great places to do this!
- Purchase a fresh bouquet from a local florist. Here are some great recommendations:
- Daffodil Parker was my wedding florist, and I'm obsessed. Modern blooms in unique arrangements that are so artistic!
- Red Square Flowers has two locations in downtown Madison - across from the Overture Center on State Street and on W Mifflin. Gorgeous bouquets are available on hand, plus plants with self-watering pots, and flower delivery!
- Brenda's Blumenladen in downtown New Glarus is a mecca for plants and gardeners. Tools, pots, seeds, ornamental plants, and trees; there is so much here to enjoy. It's worth the trek to NG, and be sure to stop at my other NG faves - Hutch + Hide and A Well Worn Story while you're there!
