Charlie and I looked at homes from Madison to Barneveld, Oregon, Belleville, and everywhere in between. After competing with 5 offers and not winning a home in Barneveld, a couple of weeks later, we were going to write on one in Oregon. Talking that evening to start writing the offer, we found out there were 10+ offers on the home already. Knowing that she wanted to stay within her budget and get a home inspection was extremely important to her, so we knew we couldn’t compete on that home. Taking a step back, I opened her mind to the thought of Evansville - a cute, quaint town, still less than 30 minutes from her work on the west side. There was the CUTEST home that made it through the weekend without any offers. We dropped everything we were doing and went to look at it. She fell in love, wrote an offer, and was under contract in 24 hours!
