April in Wisconsin brings *hopefully* those first starts of green in the gardens and on the trees, but that's not all - it's baby farm animal season!
There are several great farms and events for the whole family to cuddle the sweetest barnyard critters. Here are my three favorite farms for lambing & kidding season!
Homestead Farm Lambing Day | April 8
Brit McCoy's female-run sheep farm is brimming with lambs! She's hosting a Lambing Day at her Belleville farm on Saturday, April 8, from 9:00 to noon. The farmstand will be open to buy Homestead Farm's products, and Candace Dolan will be hosting photography sessions with the lambs. Check out Brit's IG page @homesteadwisconsinfarm for all the deets!

Eugster’s Farm Lambing & Kidding Days | Starting April 15
Eugster's Lambing & Kidding Days is an annual tradition for the Schroerlucke family! There are so many babes to hold, including kids & lambs of course (that you can bottle feed!), chicks, ducklings, bunnies, kittens, piglets, puppies, and more. The whole petting farm will be open along with the farm store, so you can easily spend an entire Spring afternoon at the farm!

Busy Barns Adventure Farm | Starting May 7
Busy Barns will open for their lambing and kidding days on Sundays in May, so if you miss out on Homestead or Eugster's, you can still make it to Busy Barns for a few more weekends! One fee covers the entire day of snuggling the baby lambs, kid goats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, kittens, and even a calf.
